Dr. B. R. Ambedkar International Mission Center is planned in Houston Texas to promote. Dr. Ambedkar's ideology, his struggle for the human rights of 300 million Dalits, Untouchables and tribals of India.
The center will primarily organize lectures, seminars, symposiums, get togethers to achieve the above goal. AIM Center will also create a Library to house all the writings and speeches of Dr. Ambedkar as well as all the published literature available on human rights struggle of India as well as of other parts of the world such as human rights struggle of United States of America.
AIM Center will also create "Dr. Ambedkar Research Center" to promote research on Dr. Ambedkar's life, struggle, philosophy and mission. AIM Center, Houston will function like a "Social Center". No religious activities, prayers, performances shall be carried out at the center.
AIM Center, Houston will have 2-5 rooms to accommodate visiting scholars, eminent persons from India or from any part of the world. Decision to house such visitors and duration of their stay will be taken by the Executive Committee.
